CFC AMBIENT MODEL

Specification

Air curtain shall be Miniveil Model CFC….and shall produce a strong low turbulent air stream with an air velocity at the nozzle of 6500 fpm. The unit is of a rigid welded gauge 14 steel construction (Stainless steel grade 304 or higher available). The unit is designed to be supported at each end without the need for intermediate support. The unit shall consist of double shaft TEFC, 6 pole motor(s), each driven forward curved non overloading fans with each wheel individually supported by two sealed bearings. The fans shall be completely balanced and aerodynamically designed transitions between the fans and the nozzle, and the outlet length of the transitions shall be equal to the full length of the nozzle. The nozzle shall be 4.5” wide and extend the full length of the unit and be moted to the base. It shall be possible to angle the whole nozzle, at least 4” deep in the direction of the air flow, +/- 20 ° to permit directing the air stream in or out through the door.

Operation Controls

The unit shall contain multiple control methods to fully control operation of air curtain: 

  • Automatic Door Switch Operation
    • Air curtain will have the fans activated by door open, and have the fans deactivated by door closed.
  • Unit mounted Rocker Switch Control Operation (Optional)
    • Air curtain equipped with Rocker switches which can be turn air curtain to High Speed/OFF/Low Speed.
  • Wireless Network smart control System (Optional)
    • Air curtain can be fully controlled and monitor through your smart phone or computer (No App needs to download).

Control Panel (Optional)

Three phase units require a motor starter control panel which may also include a Lockable Discount Switch, a Hand/Off/Automatic Switch, or Terminal Block for Automatic Door Switch, Air Pressure Sensor (Providing False Signal Alarm), Adjustable Time Delay (allowing the unit to keep running for a period after the door closes). The control panel may be unit mounted at specific location as per request.

Air Curtain shall be equipped with a CSA approved Helical Coil Electric Heater with Automatic Reset Thermal Overload, Magnetic Contractor(s), and be mounted and internally prewired on the base for easy installation and servicing. Heater assembly to fit inside the unit. The heater may divide into 2 stages or more as per specific models.

All coils are rated in compliance with the certification program of A.R.I. standard 410-72.
